Complex cases are frequently referred to us by treating specialists, medical practitioners and clients, for people who
- are not progressing or have not responded to physiotherapy or other allied health treatment as expected
- are currently being treated, but the existing therapist is uncertain of the diagnosis or prognosis
- may need or want a second opinion or an alternative direction for management
Our senior physiotherapists are able to
- use strong clinical reasoning for differential diagnoses to provide an accurate diagnosis
- provide a management plan with an accurate prediction of time frame for recovery
- offer alternatives to management, when the current management program is not progressing
- give experienced advice on non-conservative measures such as surgery and injections
