Laura Snyder

Physiotherapist

Laura graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from McMasters University in Ontario (2012) and has worked in a variety of areas of physiotherapy including neuromusculoskeletal and rehabilitation.

Joining the PhyxMe physiotherapy team in 2016 Laura has seen through her clinic practice the importance of functional exercise prescription to help transition clients to active rehab where they are in control of improved movement and strength. This led her to undertake further studies in Clinical Pilates with STOTT and the Pilates Institute of Queensland to increase her expertise and skills in this area.

Laura’s interests in this area involve rehabilitating all forms of sports injuries from dancers and gymnasts requiring core strengthening in end-range positions to runners and field sports players with functional hip and knee stability.

Laura also has a keen interest in assisting pre and post-natal patients with their pelvic floor, abdominal and general strengthening.
